The Estate Edit was founded by Emily Elkins, a dedicated ceramic and art collector and subsequent estate sale enthusiast. Emily Elkins, founder of The Estate Edit, is a lifelong art and design enthusiast with a special love for collecting ceramics and unique estate treasures. Her eye for detail and passion for preservation inspire the thoughtful, boutique-style approach she brings to every sale. Originally from the East Coast, Emily is known for her straightforward honesty, upbeat personality, and unwavering follow-through. She cares deeply about helping clients through life’s transitions, combining her business acumen with genuine empathy. For Emily, every estate sale is more than a transaction — it’s an opportunity to honor stories, connect people with meaningful pieces, and make a difficult process a little lighter.
Hannah Landon is a Los Angeles–based visual artist and assistant at The Estate Edit. Her journey with the company began in a deeply personal way, when Emily guided Hannah’s family through the sale of her grandmother’s estate. That serendipitous connection grew into both a friendship and a professional partnership. Today, Hannah brings her artistic eye, meticulous attention to detail, and uplifting energy to every project, enhancing the experience for clients and shoppers alike. Her presence helps ensure each estate sale feels not only seamless but also welcoming and meaningful.
